CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Both houses of the Wyoming Legislature have voted to approve the supplemental budget bill.

A conference committee perhaps as early as next week will meet to reconcile differences in the different versions.

The Senate on Friday approved $1.5 million for the superintendent of public instruction's office, while the house approved $1.23 million.

The Legislature this session separated the superintendent's office from the state Department of Education. Superintendent Cindy Hill is no longer head of the agency.

The Senate also approved an amendment to require the UW Board of Trustees to report to the Legislature on policies, including the installation of permanent artwork, how college deans are selected and on the razing of historic buildings. That amendment failed in the House.
