University of Wyoming release. - The University of Wyoming Athletics Department will kick off the "Border War Weekend" by hosting a Student Pep Rally on Friday, Oct. 18 at 7:30 p.m. in the UniWyo Sports Complex on campus. The event is free to UW Students, and the first 1,000 students through the doors will receive a free T-Shirt.

The event will precede Saturday's 105th Meeting in the "Border War" series between the Wyoming Cowboys and Colorado State Rams. Saturday's football game between the two archrivals is set for Noon in War Memorial Stadium.

In addition to 1,000 free T-Shirts, Friday's Student Pep Rally will feature free pizza and free Pepsi products. The Wyoming football team captains will address those in attendance Friday evening.

Wyoming's 2013-14 Cowboy Basketball Team will be introduced, and the UW marching band, Western Thunder, UW Spirit Squad and Pistol Pete will also be in attendance.

Not only will UW students receive free food and drinks, but they will also have an opportunity to win free textbooks for the 2014 spring semester by participating in various activities.

Come participate in Friday's activities and remember to show up at War Memorial Stadium on Saturday to cheer on your conference-leading Cowboys against archrival CSU.
