Boards And Commissions Applications Due Friday

The City of Laramie Manager’s Office is currently accepting applications for positions open on several boards and commissions.Citizens of Laramie are encouraged to apply to serve as a volunteer for these openings. These are key to creating policy and helping to make recommendations to the Laramie City Council. Not only do they need professionals to serve, but concerned citizens as well.

"I think it's really important that we have resident participation in some of the decision making and recommendations that those boards and commissions make to council to get, sometimes, a broader view of the public's insight into how best to improve and operate the community," says Assistant City Manager David Derragon.

Applications will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Friday, July 25. Those interested must complete an Application for Board and Commissions and can submit it in person to Suite 220 of City Hall at 406 Ivinson Avenue, or mail it to P.O. Box C, Laramie, WY 82073.
