UNDATED (AP) — Patrick Kane had been 0-for-9 in shootout attempts this season before allowing the Chicago Blackhawks to win a rematch of last year's Stanley Cup finals.

Jonathan Toews (tayvz) and Kane provided the Hawks' shootout tallies in a 3-2 comeback win over Boston. Marian Hossa (HOH'-sah) and Brandon Bollig scored in regulation, with Bollig's goal tying the game 2-2 midway through the second period

Brad Marchand did the Bruins' scoring, including their lone shootout goal.

The outcome leaves Chicago four points behind first-place Anaheim in the NHL's Western Conference and gets the Bruins within seven points of East-leading Pittsburgh.

In other NHL action:

— Boston shares the Atlantic Division lead with Tampa Bay after Mark Barberio notched his first two NHL goals in the Lightning's 5-3 win at Carolina. Ondrej Palat had a goal and two assists to support Ben Bishop, who stopped a career-high 48 shots.

— Rick Nash scored twice and Henrik Lundvist stopped 24 shots as the New York Rangers handled Washington 4-1. Derek Stepan (STEP'-ahn) and Ryan Callahan also scored in the Rangers' sixth victory in seven games.
