To many people, “tax day,” is the worst day of the year. Whether it’s being forced to sit down with a calculator and go through all your receipts or the idea of sending a big fat check to the government, everyone can find a reason to dislike taxes. The good news is that “tax day,” the day your returns were due has passed; the bad news (for many) is that you filed for an extension, and still have to do your taxes in the next few months.
Microsoft Considered Laramie For New Data Center
Recently, Microsoft announced the plan to build a $112 million data center in Cheyenne. With this development, comes the prospect of many new jobs and a great amount of revenue that will benefit the state of Wyoming. During Microsoft’s selection process however, came the notion Laramie could be next to see a technological development such as the one in Cheyenne.

UW Law Club Takes on Nigerian Human Rights Violations
Laramie residents and University of Wyoming students have the opportunity to hear a legal debate over alleged human rights violations during oil exploration in Nigeria at a UW College of Law forum this week.
The dialogue will occur during the Potter Law Club’s annual spring discussion of a controversial legal event.

Living in Laramie, when the weather changes, so do we… A recent poll on our sites showed that most of us believe that the Laramie weather affects our mood so when it starts getting warmer, we start feeling better. A lot of that could have to do with the activities that warmer weather opens us up to such as walking, bicycling, rock climbing, you get the idea. For some of us, warmer weather encourages us to leave the house in the evening and go out to eat (I’m not saying that we don’t eat out in the winter, but a lot of us are kind of shut in during the winter, admit it). While Laramie boasts many fine dining establishments, in particular, Laramie has an incredible collection of Mexican food restaurants.
