UNDATED (AP) — There are four day games in baseball today with the best matchup taking place in Oakland. This is the final game of a four-game set between the Athletics and Giants. Last night San Francisco put an end to Oakland's six-game winning streak with a 5-2 win. On the mound this afternoon for the A's is 10-game winner Scott Kazmir, who is facing Tim Hudson.

The other day games feature the Cubs facing the Reds in Cincinnati, the Brewers at home to the Phillies and in Boston the Red Sox entertaining the White Sox.

The Royals and Tigers open up an interesting American League Central Division series tonight. The Tigers start the day with a 4 ½-game lead over the second-place Royals. Tonight's game is the first of four.

The remaining games tonight have the Indians closing out a home series with the Yankees, Washington at Baltimore, the Mets at home to the Braves, Pittsburgh at St. Louis, the Rangers at home to the Angels, Seattle hosting the Twins and the Padres in Los Angeles to play the Dodgers.
