Ark to Celebrate Giving Tuesday with Drive Through Donations

Ark Regional Services is celebrating Giving Tuesday by hosting a "Drive Through Donations" day.

Giving Tuesday, campaigned online as #GivingTuesday, refers to the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. It is an initiative to create an international day of giving at the beginning of the Christmas holiday season.

The donation event will be this Tuesday, November 27th, at 1150 North 3rd Street in Laramie. A drive through will be set up in Ark’s parking lot where participants can make their donation from the comfort of their vehicle, receive a free cup of coffee and a doughnut.

The goal is to raise at least $4000. To reach this goal, Ark is asking for 2000 donations of at least $2.

The organization supports individuals with intellectual disabilities from school age through adulthood by providing services like community integration, supported living, equine assisted learning, therapeutic riding, community employment, adult day service, and more.

Donations can be made anytime online as well through Ark Regional Services' web portal.
