The American Indian Studies at the University of Wyoming will be hosting a screening of the film "Winter in the Blood" on Thursday, September 24 at 7 p.m. in the Education auditorium. Admission is free.

The film follows Virgil First Raised as he attempts to find his missing wife while confronting his past.

Following the screening, stars Chaske Spencer (of Lakota descent) and Gary Farmer (of  Cayuga descent), along with filmmakers Alex and Andrew Smith will host a panel discussion about the film. Spencer is best known for his role as Sam Uley in the "Twilight" films.
